Four Favorite International Meeting Destinations

Here at Fourth Wall Events, we regularly discuss the top conference and events destinations across the United States. This time around, we decided to add a little exotic flair and highlight some of the top foreign destinations across the globe.

Beijing

China is an economic powerhouse, and Chinese companies want foreign investors, buyers, and clients to come to them. As a result, the Chinese government established an entire agency to conventions and visitors in 2012. Through significant investments to construct appropriate venues, hotels, and infrastructure, Beijing is quickly becoming a favorite destination for event goers.

Berlin

The German capital is a hub of culture, politics, and Europe’s biggest economy. With a growing presence of tech startups, pharmaceutical companies, and biomedical engineering, it is no surprise many niche industries have selected Berlin as a meeting point.

Paris

The City of Light is known for its romantic backdrops and is the number one tourist destination in the world. As such, it has an impressive event infrastructure, including more than 1,000 venues and 600 Paris Convention Bureau business members. In fact, Paris is regularly voted the world’s most coveted destination by international event planners.

Istanbul

As the Gateway Between East and West, Istanbul has been a popular meeting destination for centuries. Istanbul boasts seven purpose-built convention centers, three exhibition centers, and almost 100 five-star and deluxe hotels. According to the Istanbul Convention Visitors Bureau, the city offers superior flexibility and the confidence of knowing that all facilities are new and on the cutting edge of technology.
