May 7, 2024 – Educational Experience + Lunch
Four Seasons Westlake Village
Westlake Village, CA
In collaboration with The Center for Health & Wellbeing (on-site at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village), we’ve designed an energetic, personalized wellness journey, “Reinvigorate: Your Well-Being Redefined”.
We will explore the property through meaningful breakout sessions and connections featuring world-renowned wellness experts:
- Julie Frumin, Life Balance Counselor, LMFT, M.S. Clinical Psychology
- Edie Moses, LMFT
- and Dr. Sam Kashani, board-certified Sleep Medicine specialist
This event will allow guests to select two unique wellness experiences to participate in throughout the event. During registration, you will select two out of four curated sessions to enjoy. We will all come back together for lunch with Dr. Sam Kashani, board-certified Sleep Medicine Specialist and President Elect of the California Sleep Society.
This Ancient Chinese martial art, and system of calisthenics consists of sequences of very slow controlled movements. Tai Chi techniques aim to address the body and mind as an interconnected system and are traditionally believed to have meaningful mental and physical health benefits.
Art Therapy is a blended field of therapeutic practice that combines art and psychology, by utilizing the creative process, artistic techniques and external artwork to support individuals and groups, to develop self-awareness, explore emotions, connect to others, heal and increase sense of calm.
This session is centered around the connection of our mind and body, our connection to self and our connections to others. Julie helps to explore these three crucial connections with the goal of better shaping our lives and overall state of wellbeing. You will come away with practical applications to incorporate in your daily life!
In our reiki-infused crystal bowl sound healing sessions, a wide variety of sacred ancient healing percussion instruments are used to create a relaxing and restorative sound experience. This deeply relaxing treatment uses sound waves at different frequencies to reduce stress and anxiety, decrease tension and fatigue, improve sleep and calm your body and mind. In this private session, you’ll wear comfortable clothes and lie still on meditation mats while sounds are played around you.
Eligible for 1 CEU.
