Since joining in 2011, David has led the company through significant growth, placing renewed focus on clients, industry partnerships and global presence. He has also invested in reenergizing the company’s culture, introducing the company’s signature core value “Take Good Care of Each Other,” which has led to the company-wide purpose of “Unleashing Human Potential.” This aspirational initiative is based on a focus on a triple bottom line where financial, people and sustainability results are recognized and celebrated. In addition, David has also championed the company’s fight against human trafficking and to build awareness throughout the events industry of this insidious crime.
His passion and advocacy on behalf of the events industry has earned David accolades and recognition from peers and organizations including MPI Rise Award’s Meetings Industry Leadership, the Joint Meetings Industry Council’s Unity Award, Incentive Travel Council’s Advocate of the Year award, one of Successful Meetings’ 25 Most Influential People, MPIs Most Influential 50 Meeting Professionals, the Boeing Institute of International Business International Visionary Award 2023 and induction into the Events Industry Councils Hall of Leaders.

Jennifer Miller
Panelist
Jennifer brings a unique background to the Access team, but what is most unique about her story is her involvement in a San Diego business think tank. The think tank environment exposed her to some of San Diego’s largest business owners, while providing an inside look at a variety of business models, strategies, and leadership styles. The culmination of those opportunities has equipped Jennifer with the ability to contribute to the team that leads vision and culture for Access, serving as the first female CEO of a 50-year brand. Kudos! Jennifer now leads a motivating sales team at Access as the Co-CEO.
A piece of Access that Jennifer holds dear is the unwavering rally around company values. It’s the trunk of the family tree, centering and supporting Access as an organization, and providing growth and prosperity in the workplace. Trees are awesome. In her time outside of the office, Jennifer crushes it as a mom and is heavily involved in her son’s school board. Being a mom brings her immense joy. She also won’t hesitate to take you up on a game of pickle ball – which she unearthed her passion for during the pandemic. She’s got a mean drop shot. Ace!

Rock to Recovery helps people heal and transform their lives through the powerful experience of writing, playing, and performing music as a group. Their program improves the lives and treatment outcomes for veterans, mental health, and addiction patients, at-risk youth, and those with other challenges. Brain injury is unpredictable in its consequences and can change everything about us in a matter of seconds. Those who have sustained a brain injury can develop mental health concerns. Rock to Recovery does programs specifically for this audience and we are excited to support them during this important month.
Can you imagine your event without music? Without a live entertainer? Without walk-on music for your presenters? By supporting Rock to Recovery, we are also supporting musicians who inspire us in both our professional and personal lives. Music evokes emotion, takes you back to a memory, gets us through our workouts, music is medicine in so many areas of our lives.
As a reminder, all purchases are considered donations and tax deductible.
Rock to Recovery will partner with our Young Leaders and Advisory Council to host a songwriter workshop that will utilize group creativity to inspire and express our collective voice as we kick off our March Experiential Lunch + Incentive Experience.
